Memorial & 5Qs

Saturday was my cousin's memorial. We had a big family get together at my aunt & uncle's house, and I saw a lot of family that I haven't seen in a long time. It was overall a good day with lots of good food. 


Its finally starting to warm up around here, its supposed to be in the 80s all week. Today Juliette got to play outside in her kiddie pool while I got some laundry conquered.... speaking of which I still have a bunch of towels to fold!
Yesterday I went to value village and got a few pairs of capris/shorts, and a few tee shirts.... I really needed some new clothes, nothing fits me anymore since I am still 25lbs heavier then I was pre-pregnancy. So everything is either way too tight from pre-pregnancy, or way too loose from during pregnancy.
So now I at least have a few things that fit me well enough to feel comfortable wearing out in public.


August 18th my cousin's getting married and I am going to have to look for a dress to wear to her wedding. I already have an outfit for my daughter to wear, and I have somthing in mind for my baby boy.. But IDK what I will wear. I could ask my mom if I could borrow one of her dresses, she has a lot of cute stuff! :)


Anyways, I didn't write on friday, so I will do five question friday right now instead...


5 Questions... 

1. Is love at 1st sight possible?
No, Lust at first sight is possible, and it may blossom into love.. But to feel love at first sight is a joke, how could you possible fall in love with someone for looks alone when there is so much more to know about a person. 

2. How did you choose your pet's name?
I looked up greek mythological names and found one that fit the bill. 
3. What are you considering giving up (cable, home phone)?
My hopes to be able to sleep in ever again. 
4. How much do you pay your babysitter?
Nothing.. Typically family members will watch my daughter for free when necessary.. The only time I've paid anyone to babysit.. I paid a girl I used to give horse lessons to $10 to watch my daughter for the night. 
5. How "young" is old enough to babysit? 
I think a minimum of 12 years old is old enough to babysit, but it really depends on the child in question. I have a cousin who is 14 and is immature for her age. I wouldn't want to leave her alone with either of my kids. But my friend's niece is 12 and she is a very attentive babysitter. She baby sat my daughter once.
