I took that adorable picture of Juliette today, i swear she gets cuter every day!
She just passed out on me... so its definitely time for bed.
Ricky applied for a job at the shipyard... and i talked to one of my dad's friends today (my dad and his friend both work at the shipyard)
His friend was talking to me about how Ricky and I are doing, and i told him about Ricky applying for a job there... He asked me what Ricky would really like to do there, and i said he would prefer to be a welder in the long run. (At the shipyard you get in wherever you can and then you can transfer to different shops)
I didn't realize it, but my dad's friend is the head of the welding shop! So he told me to email him a little bio for Ricky, and he would give him a good reference to get hired, and then help Ricky get a welding apprenticeship.
That would be and awesome opportunity for him! If he gets a good job at the shipyard, we may be able to move to a different state for his work. Hopefully somewhere sunny like California or Hawaii! My dad was offered jobs in both places when i was young, we lived in San Diego for about a year, but he turned down the hawaii job because it would have been permanent and my mother lives in Washington, he wasn't able to take me with him because of the custody agreement.... but i would LOVE to live in Hawaii... it would be wonderful. =]
I've definitely got to hit the hay, i'll hopefully be able to post again tomorrow.... haven't had much time to write lately with a crabby baby... though she doesn't look it in the picture! lol

That would be really good if Ricky was able to get an apprenticeship there! But, you guys aren't allowed to move. Duh! Geeze, what were you thinking =]
