A lot has happened since I last blogged! As it turns out, shortly after my last blog post I conceived another child... I tested positive in September with an estimated due date of May 21st 2012.
Tomorrow I'll be 17 weeks pregnant. :)
Ricky and I are pretty excited to be expecting again, this pregnancy wasn't actually planned. Regardless we are very happy for the newest addition.
Ricky is really hoping for a boy this time, but I'm honestly wanting to have another girl. I always wanted a sister growing up, but I had 2 brothers that weren't close in age.
My mom's birthday is on December 21st, and she'll be 40 this year. She isn't too thrilled about that... but were going to have a little family get together for her. My grandma, Juliette and I will all go to my mom's house and have some lunch/dinner and I'm planning on making cake pops. (Find the recipe HERE)
Then the 22nd I have my next prenatal appointment as well as my gender/anatomy ultrasound! I'm really excited for that! I honestly don't mind if this baby is a boy or a girl.. either is fine by me, but I just want to know the gender for sure!! I want to be able to get everything ready to go before the baby gets here, and even though May seems far away (5 1/2 months) The time can really fly before you even know it!
If I do have a boy this time around I'm going to have to get rid of Juliette old infant seat (it matches her stroller and pack n play) and get a more boyish colored one. I'll also have to think about whether or not to exchange Juliette's pack n play for a more boyish one, since I used that as Juliette's bed for the first few months.
In other news.. I'm really craving a Red Robin burger... the kind banzai one in particular....
BTW, did you know you can substitute the hamburger patty for a boca burger? They are vegetarian patties, and they taste surprisingly like real beef. I had the banzai burger with the boca patty before and it was really good!
