I find it ironic that the title of my last blog entry was "December already.."
Little did I know, the next blog entry wouldn't be until MAY!
I am so happy that its almost summertime.... But here in the great state of Washington, I've yet to be shown that it really is spring time...
Yesterday was such a beautiful day, I actually got a little bit of a sunburn!! I was outside working with my horse, Leira for a while, and I rode her for about an hour.
I was really taken aback by how well she did for me... she has never performed that well as long as I've owned her, and I truly believe that its because she is so much happier here at our new house. Her and Hollywood have free roam of about 4.5 acres worth of pasture here. The love it! The neighbors have horses also, and our horses just love hanging out next to their fence next to them.
Heres a picture i took last week of Juliette, if you look closely you can see Leira in the background.
After riding Leira yesterday, it really made me want to show Leira. She did BEYOND excellent. She could easily be a performance horse at this rate. Plus, she looks amazing this year. Shes really filled out and her color has become really dark.
Anyway, I don't have much else to write about at the moment... I'm thinking I will try to find some shows in the area...

Are you still going to show Leira in gaming? Or are you going to do performance? I'm wanting to take Beamer to a bunch of shows, but don't have anyone (that doesn't own walkers and strictly do walker shows) to go with.
Just saw this since I rarely come on my blog anymore... lol
I haven't thought too much about showing since Leira has been very difficult to catch in the pasture.
I want to show her in both though, Just to give her the experience, you know.
If you have shows that you want to go to let me know and i will definitely go with! I just need to know a while a head of time so i can work her a few weeks before hand... I haven't ridden her since i posted this blog post. :(
